PermitBriefs

Privacy policy.

This page describes request storage, analytics, retention, and public permit source behavior for the indexed PermitBriefs site.

PermitBriefs is an independent source-first public permit intelligence site. It uses official/open permit data to explain market activity and does not scrape private portals, sell contact lists, enrich owner contact records, operate call tracking, or guarantee project leads.

Market requests

Production market requests are stored only through the verified Neon Postgres /api/market-request path after the endpoint confirms a successful durable insert. The public requests page displays browser-local QA buffers and interest signals only; it is not the Neon admin log or source-of-truth request database. Stored request fields are limited to work email, city/locale, topic, decision notes, page path, consent marker, request status, user agent, referrer, metadata, and a salted IP hash when a hash salt is configured; raw IP addresses are not stored.

Analytics

GA4 is loaded only when a real measurement ID is supplied through the deployment environment. The market_request_submit event is not sent unless a request has first been saved by the verified Neon storage endpoint. Disconnected or failed submissions are not sent as conversion events.

Retention and use

Browser-local QA signals can be cleared in the visitor browser. Production market requests are used to prioritize future source-backed briefs and should be reviewed or deleted on request; any QA rows must be deleted before conversion reporting.
